Russian guide dies
Aleksander Ometov, 31, died Monday night after falling into the ice in Tempelfjorden.
Aleksander Ometov, 31, was the guide of a group crossing Tempelfjorden after a visit to Pyramiden. Two rescue helicopters and the KV Svalbard were among the rescue resources sent to the site. Ometov died Monday night after a long period of intensive care.
