Strong growth requires good logistics and more dock time
More and more cruise tourists are visiting Longyearbyen. Traffic to the port has increased 20 percent since last year.
Mein Schiff 4 arrived at Longyeabyen Harbor with 2.722 passengers on board. A total of 2.048 participated in local activities. Eva Britt Kornfeldt, head of the Svalbard Cruise Network, has greeted most of the cruise ships arriving this summer.
