A cold May, but still above-average temperatures
High temperatures during the last two days of May resulted in yet another month with temperatures higher than normal.
On Mai 25 plenty of snow remained in Longyearbyen. The last two days of May became much warmer and resulted in an above-average overall temperature for the month.
